We welcome all organizations that meet the eligibility requirements to participate in the "Best Places to Work in Healthcare" program.  To be eligible for consideration, companies must meet the following criteria:

• Be a for-profit, not-for-profit business or government entity
• Be a publicly or privately held business
• Have a facility in the United States
  
• Have a minimum of 25 employees in the United States
  
• Must be in business a minimum of 1 year
• Must be either a healthcare provider, healthcare payer or healthcare supplier

Best Companies Group will accept registrations from companies in these three categories:

1)  Healthcare Providers.  This category is for any organization, for profit or not-for-profit, that provides any level of healthcare.  This category includes, but is not limited to, Health Systems, Hospitals, Physician Groups, Military Hospitals, and Teaching Hospitals.

2) Healthcare Payers.  This category is for any organization, for profit or not-for-profit, that is responsible for paying healthcare expenses on behalf of someone else.  This category includes, but is not limited to, Health Insurance Companies and Managed Care Organizations.  This category does not include employers who are self insured, or paying their own healthcare expenses.  Companies must have at least 50% of their revenue or business coming from products or services created for/provided to the Healthcare industry.

3) Healthcare Suppliers.  This category is for any organization, for profit or not-for-profit, that supports the healthcare industry with its products or services.  This category includes, but is not limited to, Medical Supply Manufacturers & Suppliers, Medical Schools, Healthcare Consultants, Healthcare Associations, Pharmaceutical Companies and other Healthcare Vendors.  Companies must have at least 50% of their revenue or business coming from products or services created for/provided to the Healthcare industry.

The "Best Places to Work in Healthcare" results and rankings will be simultaneously published by Modern Healthcare and posted on this Web site.
